On behalf of Hortau, I wanted to take a moment to wish you Happy Holidays and thank you for being a valued customer and partner in 2014.
This past year has been a productive one for Hortau and many of our growers. With the drought out West, and extreme climate and water issues affecting just about all of us, I can’t tell you how inspiring it is to see growers like yourself truly walk the walk when it comes to precision irrigation – and grow more with less inputs.
Since 2002, our goal has been to simplify irrigation through sensor technologies, and while technology can never replace boots on the ground, the objective is to make your life easier with everything we do.
That is why in 2014 we invested heavily in our future, securing $3.5 million – in addition to the $3 million secured in 2013 – to ramp up our technical support teams in all of the markets we serve.
At Hortau, we pride ourselves in providing the best service in the industry, and helping growers succeed where other ag tech companies have failed.
To back up that promise, we are dedicated to continue growing our technical support team in 2015, remaining one of the only soil-moisture monitoring companies to offer complete, proactive service – from the initial consultation until years after our systems are installed.
Along with more grower support than ever, this coming year will see a number of ground-breaking additions to the Hortau system, including full automation for growers of all crops, as well as some offerings we’ll be announcing in future emails.
