“You have to treat water like you treat your fertilizer,” Boudreau said. “It’s not just about saving water, it’s about using water to the optimum to boost productivity and boost yield.”
Boudreau participated on the panel, entitled “Achieving Value Creation – Innovations in Water Management,” with moderator Lee Addams (High Quest Partners), Peter Berweger (Paine Schwartz Partners) and Aric Olson (Jain Irrigation).
The panel focused not only on emerging technologies in water management, but how to create value in the sector – for growers, investors, partners and consumers.
The third annual GAI AgTech Week, according to organizers, was “dedicated to building a community of forward-thinking players who are allocating capital, forming partnerships, and changing the trajectory of the global food system.”
